Whether you agree or disagree, everyone should know the facts as it pertains to Dakota, Lakota and Nakota (8 reservations in all). This includes the 1851 Treaty as well as Docket 74-A. A lot of Sioux tribes are unaware of Draft legislation. What needs to happen is new legislation to take back what belonged to them even though it was thievery in the first place. The tribes have to play the legislation game just as there needs to be legislation to protect reservation boundaries. I can't stress enough that unless the Sioux Nation takes action in Congress to protect boundaries and Paha Sapa then there will be certain termination. The counties, state and Feds would love to see that happen.
