Sherwyn, I have finished copying the pages of the book I thought you might want to see and can email the three pictures I have scanned. Would you like me to send regular mail the copies? did you say you were interested in the Zephier stuff? or just the Ray information? The book is Remember your relatives and I have not seen a website that sells any. I am searching for more copies for another family and if I can get them I will post how here.
Sara, I have a list that was given to me from back in the 60's from the Sisseton Agency and it is a list of all people that are "on file" at the agency. There is also a list of people that live there that are not from "this reservation". Many of the names include both the english and indian names and are a good resource for that reason and I also use it to confirm information as well. I know you both collect and share information and so I would like to send it to you. I have your mailing address and will be putting it in the mail in the next day or so.
I am also looking for some information of the family of a person listed on the mdewakanton census named Iron Shield. This is not my family but I have said I would check and see if there are any families out there that have been certified or what information exists. Any information would be appreciated.
Tamara

Lucy, I wanted to clarify that there are two volumes of Remember Your Relatives and I wanted to reply to a post that you made sometime back. According to the first volume of Remember Your Relatives, the Feather family is descendant of Feather Necklace or mis translated as Feather in the Ear.

Tamara, I am interested in the Ray family information. I already have the "All My Relatives" volume I and II. I'm looking for something of the David Ray family bloodline that shows David Towanojanjan Ray's parents from Minnesota, Wahpeton and Wakpekute bands as listed on the 1858 census. Have you found anything along those lines. It would help if I could find out who David Ray's parents were. Thanks for your help with this. Sherwyn

Tamara - Would you check the Sisseton census for me for George Campbell. I know that George Campbell had a homestead in Roberts County SD that recorded in 1889 as well as an Indian Fee patent. My great aunt Annie Campbell went to school at Sisseton. thank you for any help Barbara
