You just click on it, and browse for your picture and hit Host. Then cut and paste the url they give you.

I use to have a photo of Sam Wolf with his sons Charlie the oldest by Mdoya and son Lot by Julia but it was taken by a woman at Flandreau and never returned, I had several copies before all were given out so now I have none. A cousin had photo of Samuels daughters on her myspace web page. I will see if I can copy it frpm the web site and email it to you. SARa

You will need to open an account at imageshack or photobucket and download your photos from there. It's easy, and free. Or, just email your picture to a member who could post them for you, as you have done. We are happy to help!

Did you send it to esweet4204@hotmail.com? I didn't receive anything.

Here are some Santee Indians. Does anybody know who any of them are? Sorry, no Santees. Second from the left is Chief Sitting Bull (Hunkpapa Lakota), third from the left is Spotted Tail (Brulé Lakota). This is a Lakota Sioux delegation to Washington D.C. or something like that.

I'm afraid I don't know anything about him. I just know he was Mdewakanton. This is supposed to be Cetan Wakan Mani, Sacred Hawk That Comes Walking, or...Little Crow II, Tayoateduta's grandfather.

LITTLE CROW 2 (CETANWAKUAMANI) DIED BEFORE THEY GOT HIS PHOTOGRAPH...BUT TAOYATEDUTA WAS ALSO KNOWN BY THAT NAME(CETANWAKUAMANI) BY WHITE PEOPLE...BUT HE IS NOT IN THIS PHOTOGRAPH EITHER...HE DIED IN 1863...BEFORE THIS PHOTOGRAPH WAS TAKEN...THIS IS A DELEGATION FROM THE 1870'S....I DID FIND A PHOTOGRAPH THAT I THINK HAS THESE GUYS IN IT-I THINK IT IS THE DELEGATION FROM YANKTON AND SANTEE NE....I WILL HAVE TO LOOK AND WILL POST LATER TONIGHT WHEN I FIND IT AGAIN...JON

Mary Chapman (Winona) on right, shortly before passing on. Her daughter Henrietta (Winona) standing, granddaughter Marla (my mom) on left. When I go home this month I will have access to Mary's old photo albums and will have alot of the older pictures to share. I thought for now it would be nice for relatives of the Hoffmans/Chapmans to see...
