They sure appear to be Paul and Grace Robertson who lived next to the Bazile Creek Congregational Church.
I remember them in the early 1960s. Nice folks. Paul could barely see. I remember that they walked everywhere. (Of course they went everywhere, too.) They had beautiful singing voices.

Nancy Stone seated at far right. Her daughter, Martha Wakute seated on far left, her husband, Joe Jesse Chase is standing at top left corner. Photo taken about 1915. Here is a picture of Jesse James in 1875, in Nebraska City, Nebraska. He is supposedly the father of Joe Jesse Chase. They certainly do look similar.

I was wondering if this Paul Robertson is a descendant of the Jane Robertson family.

These pictures are just so wonderful. I try so hard to imagine my ancestors and what they looked like and how they lived. These images are incredibly moving. Thanks so much.

Dear Ms. Kimbell: nancy Stone first married Andrew J. Myrick, then she married Thomas Wakute, then she wasthe spouse of John b. Wapaha, and she had two children with a DeWitt, and a child with a Jewett. No record of her marrying a Robertson. No record I have that shows her daughter Mary mYrick Hinman marrying a Robertson either.
I don't know where you got these "marriage Licenses", but I would ure like to see a copyof them., if you would send them to me at dakounas@yahoo.com or you could upload them to this section of the website, so we can all see these.

Hermin1, I believe this is the marriage record in question. Note the mother of Mary Myrick is listed as Nancy Robertson.
