How kolas! I stumbled upon this discussion and had to chime in to say that before Europeans we "Lakota" we're called teton or tetunwan, Lakota actually means Ally but is used to reference us by our dialect. The Teton were made up of the oglala, the hunkpapa and the minnekohzu. Interesting stuff.

I'm trying to get information together to get my two children enrolled. Me and the father are divorced and not on good speaking terms. I know that his mother is full blooded Oglala, and his father is half. So what does it make the father of my children?
