Dawn and Sara: I need to know if I am on the right track with the above data? Is it possible that Tucankaduta could have changed his name to John Bluestone?

Sara and Dawn: I believe the Wells are related by Marriage to one of the Goodthunders, and one of the Coursolls: the 1930 Census for Paxton, Redwood,Minn. lists: Sam Wells, age 73,Widower, married at age 22,he and parents born in Minn.; Sarah Goodthunder,step-daughter, age 28,Widow,she and parents born Minn.; willie Goodthunder, Great Step-son age9, Emma Goodfeather,Great Step-daughter, age 5, Jeannie,Grat Step-daughter, age5, Iola Great Step-daughter age2 4/12; Anna Coursoll-Step Daughter age 26, Married at age 18,Isac Step-son in law ,age 33; Raymond Coursoll, grt. step son age 7.all of the ones listed were born in Minn,. as were their parents.
I also made an error. there is a Helen Bluestone, and an Elen bluestone.they arte not the same person. Helen was born @ 1869 in South Dakota. Elen was born @ Jan 1861,in Nebraska as were her parents. Elen is the wife of Harry Bluestone(born @ 1865)in Minnesota.
I wonder if that Kate bluestone who was listed with that St. Cloud family, was a sister, or an aunt to John Bluestone.

Sara, I think I may have read your post on Huntkaduta wrong. When you list the wifes and Ellen is listed was she first married to his father and then his brother Iron Elk?
Does it list with of his wifes was the mother to which child?
Does the chart list any information on Huntkaduta's wife Susan's family?
Thanks
Dawn

Dawn and Sara: The Minnesota Historical society may have a copy of that newspaper that published the Obit for Harry Bluestone. it would be worth it, I think to get a copy of the Obituary. alternative is to find out which county, New Ulm is in, and see if they ha county has a hgenealogical society that would have back issues of that paper.

Sara: Would you have any Santee censuses prior to the 1884 Santee census ?If so it would be worth it to see if any of the people on those heirship papers are listed.

Hi Sara Could you look on the 1872-santee census for a josephine born to a white black bird and tasinatopawin or tasinahotewin . And tasinatopawin married George paypay at E Bazille nebaska in 1875 see if they have a josephine in there house hold. This couple also adopted a james C. Paypay. I found the 1875 census and George is listed with 1m and 1f in his house hold no children. I need to find a census that list any other people In Georges Paypays house hold.
