no that maggie campbell died in 1892 her age was 92, this maggie (marpicusnawin) was 60 yrs old on the 1886 census her son samuel was listed as 16 yrs old. i don't think, even then, they could give birth at 70 yrs of age. i have her probate on hand. jackie, I will check out ancestry.com. I wonder if she is on that descendancy list for Archibald "John" Campbell that I found for Liz White at www.rootsweb.com

I am looking for any clues on a woman named Margaret Campbell that shows on the 1900 Mendota census with her daughter nancy and grandson named Daniel Campbell and his wife Lucy. The 1880 census shows a Daniel Campbell and brother George with a widowed mother named Mary. The family information shows Daniel Campbell's father to be Henry Campbell. Although the dates of birth seem to fit for the Margaret Campbell on the lawsuit census, I dont know if she is the mother of Mary and the grandmother of Daniel. Any input would be appreciated.

actually Marpicusnawin (maggie campbell) is listed on many credible docs as mary madeline and louisa campbell's mother. she is also listed as the wife of duncan campbell.

Tamara: plug in Henry Campbell in the ancestry search engine and his estimated birth date . born in Minn. and died in Minn. in 19** and see what you get. Since he was marrried, the census you get will show who his wife was. Is it possible there was a Mary Margaret- or a Magaret Mary- Campbell in the Campbell line?
