Is Mr. Montana charging a $75 fee plus a $25 fee for each adult? Thanks! Swootz I think if you contact him by email or phone, he will tell you exactly. He seems to be easy to catch either way. my understanding is that it equals 75.00 when you add the 50.00 plus the 25.00 processing fee. Tamara

Hi kids, Mr. Montana's new contract includes a $75 retainer (I've seen it), plus any expenses incurred. I would assume there is still the fee for submitting the packets. Best to call and see what the fees are at this time, as they seem to be changing quickly! The last contract I saw also requires he take 25% of any awards. Less than some of the lawyers, I think.

Thanks Vicky, I havent seen any new agreement so thanks for telling us what you know. And yes, I am sure the best way to find out would be to write or call him.
FWaukazoo I have always felt there was so much more to be said for Betsy. I am impressed and pleased that have taken action to do just that. I am sure there are other descendants of hers that feel the same and I can only imagine you would be an asset to them as a group if they have already filed a motion. You have worked very hard and have done so well, also it could be said that your course of action has placed a bit of a spotlight on the family of Betsy Mary St Clair and that would help as well. Have you had opportunity to read "Taopi and Friends by Mr Walsh"? I have always wanted to see it. I do have a page that tells about Mr William Walsh and his passion for their cause. It seemed to me that it indicated an amount of frustration and sadness on his part that Taopi was not assisted in the manner he thought he should have been. Whatever you decide, I wish you the very best.
Tamara
