hi justiceforall Thank You!! so much for your postings they have been very helpful to me, I have Arconge on my mother's side and Roy/LeRoy on my dad's side, i am also a direct descendant of Wabasha II and "Old Bets" (Betsey Mary St.Clair) do you happen to have any lines on them?? I think what you are posting is awesome, if more of us could do this it would sure cut down on those sites that want to charge us big monies for our own family info. Please keep up the good work. wapate

Wapate Denney posted a family tree for Old Bets a while back. If you search this site you should be able to find it. vmarier

vmarier Thanks! I do have Old Bets's genealogy, but I am always looking for more. I would also like to remind every one that there is a very good source out there called: "Lights and Shadows of a Long Episcopate: Being Reminiscences and Recollections of The Right Reverend Henry Benjamin Whipple, Bishop of Minnesota" by Henry Benjamin Whipple This book is a very good source about the times before the war during and after the war, he also mentions many names and families, I think it is a "must have" for any one doing research this man worked with almost all of the tribes of north america. Thanks to all of you that have been such a great help during our search!! wapate

I agree wapate,, and I do believe that some or all of his book has now been published on line, for people to read.
