Folks: I am searching for the baptismal record for Albert M. LaCroix, born 1879 in south Dakota. I found the record for his being confirmed in 1912 to the Church of the Blessed redeemer in Santee,Knox,NE.
I need to find his baptismal record though. I do know he was born onthe sisseton Reservation.
I also need the record of his marriage to Cordelia Alice Walker,-Chapman, born 1889 at Santee,Knox Ne. I have searched the Santee Agency records but no luck. i also checked the Church Registers we had on line, but no luck there either. I would appreciate anyi nformation or leads to finding these two records. Thanks for your help.

vickY: you sweetheart you!! Thanks so much. I will relay the message to Liz. I know she will be thrilled. She said totell you she is feeling much better now, the last time I talked to her.
i will keep searching for his baptismal/birth record. I know it is not in the Delayed birth registration Index for south Dakota. We now know whhen he was confirmed. The question now is when was he baptized? How long do they wait in the Episcopal church , after a person is baptized, before they confirm them, if they are an adult?
