here's the listing of the people in Unmarked graves at the St. cornelia's cemetery in Minn. poncaldy did a great job of posting the list of the grves there also.

I am not sure, gut i think i t is by Bishop whipple's Mission at the Lower A gency.

I believe that St. Cecelia's is located in Morton, Minnesota. That is very close to Redwood. Hermin, you are correct. Bishop Whipple was the priest.

It was built in the early 1870's, I think 1873 and named after Whipples daughter Cornelia. It was to replace the one that started in the 1860's with Hinman, it had burned down. I called there last winter and they have no church records to speak of. They told me that any of their records would be in the Episcopal Diocese records. Sunshine

My family and I went on the Sacred ride at Christmas, this was the third year. I went to the cemetary and took some photos of the signs. They have a separate area for the burial of the 38 bodies that they repatriated from Davenport, Iowa. It was a beautiful place but full of snow. I need to get back this summer so that I can really take some photos. The ride this year is going to be the fourth year. It takes place during Christmas. It is to honor our ancestors that were taken prisoner and hung at Mankato.

My dear friend went to tht church cemetery, and she said the monument is breathtaking and very beautiful.
