I need to add this so as not to get confused by the dates listed. The code date listed after a name corresponds to the paper "Iape Oyate". At the top of Appendix D it explains the source code such as code number 5/77/19 relates to the May issue in 1877 page 19.

In reading the book about Brown Earth Church it mentions a hint of trouble between Goodwill and Brown Earth. I just found a story from the Minnesota Historical Society's magazine index that is about Moses Adams and his time as an agent at Goodwill. Very interesting story about the difference of opinion between Moses Adams and Gabriel Renville. collections.mnhs.org/mnhistorymagazine/articles/35/v35i04p167-177.pdf
