before the links were given an adress to upload, we were dependant on Sherwyn... who is missed these days... to send the file to those that wanted it. but siouxchic is right, just click the link and it will open for you. great stuff really, remember when you couldnt find anything native online for genealogy purposes... just access genealogy...
It is so peaceful and beautiful outside. My house is quiet, no one calling, dog not barking, no tv or radio running. Very little family stress, not an unhappy thought in my head, ...all around pretty calm and happy. A SURE sign of bad things to come!!!! I am going to have to brace myself! lol

I have the whole document in its entirety. email me and let me know if you'd like to have it for your records. The cover states: "Census of Mdewakanton Sioux of Minnesota. James McLaughlin, U.S. Inspector, March 15/17 1899." Approved by Department, March 29, 1899 See 14505, Roll 1 Scanned by Bruce White, Turnstone Historical Research, April 18, 2006.
This document has a list of 907 lineal descendants of the Mdewakanton Tribe. Sherwyn[/quote]

This might sound funny but what is the difference between the 1899 Mdewakanton Census and the 1899 Mendota Mdewakanton Census? Are they two different Censuses?
