Crow Creek - Chief Surrounded/Surround It ?

Hi All,

I am looking for information/lineage on a Chief Surrounded or Surround It (Crow Creek). I hope the name is right. He was my great Grandfather - I'm a decendent of the surname Grey Owl. My Grandfather was Charlie Grey Owl.

When I was young, I remember seeing an old photograph of Chief Surrounded, so I know that he existed. I'm just not sure of the exact name, etc.

cd70: charlie's mother was Jennie surrounded born @1880.
her parents were Surrounded born@1843, and Stone Road born @1847.
her sisters were
Sussie who had a at least daughter Pearl and son Reuben(ref.1911 Crow Creek Census)
Brown leaf b. @ 1884, and Rhoda b. @ 1890. they may have had a brother or two, but Census didn't go back further.
charlie's father was Alexander Grey owl b. @1892,and charlie had at least 4 sisters:
Juanita ,laurien, mercy, and Lucille(1931 Crow Creek Census)

i also found a Mary surrounded born @ 1873, who was wife of Frank Swift Hawk b. @ 1872 in the 1926 Crow Creek Census.

I also foujnd a Surrounded on the 1898 Crow Creek Census, and he was 70 yrs old. Could this have been the younger surrounded, father?
