Arthur Frazier World War One veteran from Santee, NE who was supposedly killed in France. He was found in the tuberculosis Hospital in Hastings (?) Nebraska in 1945. He had lost his mind (shell Shock) but was not believed that he was not dead by the government. Does anyone know more about him or his family? He is one of three brothers Earlwin of Winner, and Ben of Martin. Three sisters, Mrs. Ed Ross, and Mrs.E. Raymond, both of Winner and Miss Stella of Santee. They are the children of Rev. Charles Fraizier who served the Church (Episcopal) at Rosebud for 21 years.

Pidamaya do. thanks for the additional information. Vicky send me some stuff too. Thanks Vicky. Mike Knudson from Bismarck is writing his second book on WWI Dakota veterans. The Government said that the man in the hospital was a man named Lopez not Arthur. Arthur's mother said it was her son, but the benefits were denied. Is their a family tradition on this? If his mother talked to him in Dakota he must have understood. The article in Iapi Oahe says he was killed in action in the Argonne Forest. Toksta ake, Louie
