earth7w: I found an amelia Harrison Age 33 born @ 1887 Iowa. father born Canada, Mother born IA spouse Samuel age 39 born Canada others in Household: Henry E. son age 15, Leona age 13, another child(couldn't make out name) age8 Ref. 1920 US Census glanson, Emmons, ND

yup that's her looking for her mother's name from the Yankton tribe , there is a court case on her

earth7w: that is the only thing I can find on her at Ancestry so far. i couldn't find anything on her at ancestry using the Indian census Schedules Database. I will try again. __________________ earth7w: the 1920 US Census I posted on Amelia and her family, lists her father born French Canada and mother born Iowa. Can't find anything on Leveres in South Dakota Censuses..You'd think I would since amelia's dad was non-Indian. sorry I can't help you more.i just don't have enough information on her to search further.

I know that is the problem i am having, first don't much about the Yankton tribe second she is a mixed blood, it says she is 3/4
