LaDeaux, Douville, Peno

I am researching my family and need some help. My great-great-grandmother was Josephine LaDeaux born about 1871. She married James H Emery. I finally found out who Josephine's parents were....John LaDeaux and Amelia Douville. I was able to even figure out Amelia's parents were Freemont (Finnie) Douville and Julia Peno. I cannot find much on John LaDeaux though.

I am not only interested in names and dates...I am really looking for family history, stories, interesting facts about their lives. Thank you so much for your help. =)

Hi Jenn I, am related to Amelia Douville. I have been doing research for some time now. I have done a tree as far back as Francis and Julia. We have been trying to find out Julia's last name. I know that Julia is a full blood Yankton Sioux. Unable to find her on the rolls. They are my great,great,great Grand Parents. Would like to visit with you.

Hi, Shirlz! I would love to share info with you about our family. I don't have a whole lot but will tell you everything I have. I am trying to get out to visit my grandmother in WY in the next few months and will try to get some more info then...although she is getting older and doesn't remember things very well. Hoping to see if she has any papers or photos I can copy. Thanks for posting. =)
