George was born 1868(Fort Bennet,Stanley,Dak. Terr.) or1870.
he was married twice:
1. Alice M. Garter 9b. @ 1886 Cheyenne River Res.,SD
they had at least a son Joseph b.1 Aug. 1908.Cheyenne River Res.,SD. He died 22 oct. 1995 Mobridge,Walworth,SD burial LaPlant,Dewey,SD
2. Louise Two Kills. Wed 31 Dec.b1914 Cheyenne River D,Eagle Butte,SD

yes I know, they were full brother and sister. welcome to our website. colette do you any information on a Lawrence Brown aka Robert that married one of the Laundreaux girls? he was said to have a brother named Logan. Update : I found this at Cousin connect: img29.imageshack.us/content.php?page=done&l=img29/1751/thursd1.jpg I am not sure but it looks like George may have had a third wife ?. The person mentioned a Lawrence Brown "Robert". Robert(or Lawrence) and brother Logan's mother, whose name was thought to be Anna. Robert and his brother were born in Bowie County. thanks much Collette. Could the Louisa Laundreaux haveactually been the sister of George,who married" Brownand had the son ,mentioned in that posting at Cousin Connect?

Collette, do you know if Agnes, the 2nd wife you found listed with George have a middle name ,ie Louise? This might explain the listing I found at the LDS Archives for George's second wife.

George Laundreaux was married to Mary Alice Garter or Alice Mary Garter. They had Lucy, Charley, Joseph, Josephine, and Sophia. Lucy Laundreaux is my great grandmother --she married Henry Swimmer and they had William Swimmer --who had Lionel, Wayne, Durwood etc. Lionel was my father born 1935-1999. My name is Janelle Swimmer Simon. Lucy and Henry Swimmer divorced and she married Joseph High Elk. Lucy Laundreaux Swimmer High Elk died in 1959.
I am trying to find out when George Laundreaux died and how many other children he had.
Also: Who is Alice Garter's family?
