I was just curious to know if anyone out there had information on Frank Blackboy. He was born between 1883-1891. I saw the post that ed50 put up in here but that person didn't get an answer. Frank ended up in Devils Lake married to Agnes.
My grandma says that he's a half brother to her mother Rose No Breast.

an additional thot ... Im thinking that this could be thru Iron Shield. Heres my thot:
I read where ED50 wrote:
ok ... so ... in the Ft Peck census there is an Iron Shield married to a Brings White in 1885. Two years later in 1887, my great grandpa No Breast shows up married to a Brings White.
The story that my grams told me was that No Breast got his name getting shot in the chest in a battle.
Anyway, we're not Blackfoot, but the Ft Peck Rez used to be part of the Milk River Agency. Im reaching, i'm trying to put all these names together in my family. Ive asked the elders in my family about Frank and they all acknowledge him but they dont know how.

Yeah I've seen that Mud Hen and his wife in records. But people were married more than once back then or had multiple wives. I'm just sharing what my grandparents tell me (my maternal grandma's siblings). they say their mother Rose No Breast had a half brother named Frank Blackboy who's from Devil's Lake. So i'm just trying to put together how.
Ive seen that ED50's statement on another post about Frank Blackboy's parents, so I began to look into things. I also private messaged that person and asked them questions about Frank, but I haven't received a response.
Im just making guesses here. I know I could be reaching, like I said, but how many Frank Blackboys could there be in Devils Lake, born before 1900? There lies my dilemma.
