Charles Walking Cloud born-1863
Spouse: Juila Walking Cloud born- 1862
all the information I have is they were born in
Minnesota, but ended up on Standing Rock
In the 1896. I am looking for more infomation
on this family.

earth7w: hereis what I found:
Standing rock Census. Jun 30 1893:
Charles is 30
running close is 29
Bessie walking cloud is 1 yr. old
also in this census there is:
Walking Cloud= father
Oiyanke running wife
Bobduwin Daughter
(update: I forgot they also have a daughter named Pretty Deer)
could this Walking cloud be charles's father and Oiyanke be his mother?

their children:
Bessie is 12
Moriis is 9 born@1892
Lucy is 5 born @ 1897
jennie is 2 born 1899
eugene is 1 born @1901

Jun 30 1918 Census shows:
Charles at Age 56
Wicincala Age 47 wife of charles
nancy Walking cloud age13 daughter.

I have this information but sarah High Dog might help.
Charles and his Wife Running Close both were born about
1863 that would at the time of Whitestone massacre,
The only other document i have say they were born in Minnesota
and so i am thinking that they did not take a census before this?
I am at a lost. I don't know if he was from Sisseton or which tribe?

Hello
I found the following in indian wills 1911 to1821 Book 2
I Robert Walking Cloud of standing rock give my niece Frances Murphy a cow calf pair and to my younger sister Nancy Walking Cloud a heifer and some land and a dry cow to my father. Dated Sept 10,1917 Sorry dosnt have his fathers name.
Signed by Robert Maurice Walking Cloud.
