Need any information on these two individuals. I think James' mother was Nancy Goodteacher. I have a census that lists Samuel and Joseph Goodteacher as grandsons' of Nancy. On another list, I have Samuel listed under the household of James and Mary as a nephew. In a later census, Samuel is listed under the household of John B. and Elizabeth(Isabella) Cloud as a nephew. WHERE is the missing link? ?LOL

Interesting. I have not seen that census where Samuel is listed in the household of John B and Elizabeth. Do you mind if I ask what year and where? I had come across the names of Goodteachers in 1900 Sisseton Reservation, Marshall County. Isaac I think. I can do some checking in the sisseton records I have and see if that might shed any light on the subject.

Cloud family as a nephew. In 1887, Samuel is listed under the James/Mary Goodteacher family...as a nephew.

Sherwynz: this may be off the wall, but could Samuel have been a nephew to the female spouses?
