Hello,
My name is Rocky Shopbell and I need assistance.
on "Thomas Graham" from the Flandreau Settlement? He is my Great-great-grandfather and I am looking for a direct connection to a Joseph Graham who is on the 1886-89 Census. In addition to Thomas I am also looking for "Emily 'harriet' OtherDay, Thomas' wife. Any Information will be helpful. Thank you for your replies. Rocky Shopbell.

this might give you a little help.
I found this in the, Church of St. Peter, Mendota records, under the 1862-1865, Dakota & Metis Ministry, baptism records. of Fort Snelling
the Priest involved were:
Augustine Ravoux, Joammes C. Robert, Carol A. Ortors, and William Henry Oean
the record shows the following:
Registry page- 113
Record number- 827
#- 194
Date- 8/24/1863
Priest- Robert
Name- "Georgina Marie Otherday"
Age- b. 7/4/1863 (listed as ill)
Parental Information- (John?) Otherday & Theresa Rinville (Renville)
Sponsors- Peter St. Antoine & Angus Dupuis
This is all I have so far, if anything else shows up I will let you know

I need some clarification. I have a cousin who ordered journals, historical info from the archives and he has John Otherday married to a daughter of Wacouta's or a member of Wacouta's band?. We have been trying to authenticate our family tree as well as other info re. the names he found. Alo trying to find info. on Emma Graham or Hopkins.

Hmmm....Through Dakota Eyes says he also married a white woman around 1850's. Do the journals talk about his descendant's?
