Who is he and do I have relation from him that is related to the 1886/1889 ?? Tatebobdu is Maggie Tuttle's father? If so Maggie Tuttle's son Louis Trudell is My Grandma's (Florence Trudell/Leedom) Dad.
Tatebobdu is #9 on the Medewakanton/Santee Census

I have found Tatebobdu on several different lists. I have some information on him but I will need to look when I get home. Right now I do know that he was a husband to Mary Tunkannahowin. Mary is listed on several censuses that states she had 8 children. I will post later.

If Tatebobdu(sometimes spelled tatebombdu) is #9 on the list, then wouldn't you think you would be a lineal descendant?wake up and smell the roses.

icantbelieve: please forgive my last posting. It was inappropriate. You say he is 39 on theMdewakanton Santee Census, and i am puzzled as tow hat you are talking about. thereis no Tatebobdu on eitherof the Mdewakanton Censuse in Minnesota(1886,1889). I tracked him to 1874 or 1875 Santee Census and found him listed as living with a woman and a child under the age of 10 yrs. I lost track of him after thant.

Tate bomdu- Trial record #30. He was released in 1864 after one year at Davenport's Camp McClelln, pardoned by Abraham Lincoln. He became John Tuttle.
