Found this info from the book, Page. 63. Images Of America: Rosebud Sioux By Donovin Arleigh Sprague
Big Eagle "WANBLI TANKA" (Lakota/Dakota/Nakota). This photograph, taken by Doubleday, is undated. This photo is thought to be taken in the Winner, South Dakota, area. Big Eagle has floral designs on his regalia typical of tribes to the east of the Sicangu. Many families from the Yankton"Ihantonwan" & Crow Creek"Kangi Okute" tribe tie into this eastern side of the Rosebud Reservation. Big Eagle is a common name among many tribes in this area, & the Omaha Tribe in Nebraska. (Photograph courtesy of Tripp County Historical Society.)
