Dear Fellow Researchers:
I am trying to get confirmation of the following informatio, what little I have on Margaret Chapman:
Born@ 1840 Minnesota
parents: wicastaduta and Wakanmaniwin both dead

1887 Santee Census lists her as Mother age 50, by herself.

1884 Santee Census lists her as living with her brother-in-law James Chapman and his family. she was 46 years old at the time.

Her spouse was Benjamin Whipple-dead. thi is oneo f those times I forot where I found this last information.
I would appreciate any help and/or information you would provide

Margaret Chapman , who was married to Benjamin Whipple was my Great great grandmother. Benjamins son was Sam Whipple. Sams son was Benjamin Whipple. Benjamins son was Willard Whipple, my father. Benjamin Whipples father was Hushasha, or Red Legs of the wahpekute band.
