Does anyone have any information on Sarah and Josephine Smoke?
I am trying to determine if they were related to Chief Smoke (b. 1800/ 1804 and d. 1864) whose remains were kept at the Smithsonian for years.

I guess I should have supplied more information.
Chief Smoke (Shota) sons were: Bad Face, Solomon Smoke, Torn Blanket, Lone Wolf, and Shota.
Shota the son married "Speaking with Cow" first; then, he married "Yellow Haired Woman." Speaking Cow's children were Nancy Smoke (Saves Lives), Wendell Smoke (Holy Eagle), and Brings Plenty. Yellow Haired Woman's children were Susie Smoke (Brings Spotted Woman) and Mary Smoke (Red White Cow)
Chief Shota's daughters were Yellow Elk Woman and Ulala Smoke (Spotted Horse Woman).
He adopted his nephew Red Cloud when the boy's parents were killed.
There were a lot more children but I do not know who they were.
