We are looking for informtion on a Jenny Georgina. We believe she was born around 1868. Her father was George Thomas and her mother was a Lucy Tiopa according to her will. Her first husband was a Quinn, had a childed names Annie Quinn second Joseph Williams, had several children in the 1880 -90 and around 1915 she was using the name of Mrs. Jennie Johnson, not sure if she had any children with the Johnson spouse. If anyone has any information on her, her parents or spouses we would love to hear from you.
Thanks
Dawn

It was a different Lucy Tiopa. I believe that this Lucy's last name came from a spouse after George.

Prairie Island Settlement has her listed under Lucy Tiopa a long with her daughter Lizzi Bu? Jenny is listed as niece. Their age the time was 72, 47 and 21. Next she is listed on the Mclaughlin 1899 census married to Joseph Williams (28) Jenny Williams (32) with two children listed Annie Quinn and Francis. Her Dakota name was listed as Winona Tanka. That is all I could find. nothing more is said about them in our family.

oyateasawin: Welcome to our website. We welcome your information. I have been helping Dawn and madrock with their ancestry searches.Dawn and I have more information on Jennie Georgina. madrock has been researching the Wabasha, and la Rocque/Rocque Families for some time. would you be willing to trade information with Dawn, and madrock? I will contact them and let them, know that you may have information on the families they are searching for. From what I can see your information, your family tree resembles a tossed salad, and raises some questions in my mind, as to how some of the people you mention are related. I will send you an email with my questions, and your answers may or may not help us in your search.either way. I will also check my records to see what if anything I have on the Lawrence, Williams, and Wabasha families that may help you.
