the above is the family of Hannah Bates (wife of Denham Bates). Alice Arrow (Ohiyewin) is the sister.

i have a Hannah bates, allot. # 625 and 629 Yankton sioux
died 9 Aug. 1906 age 62 years
Parents: Hdinapen and mazayuhdecewin both dead
Spouse: Dunham Bates died Mar. 29, 1907.
parents: N/A
children:
Edward Bates- stepson age 67
Thomas Bates stepson Age 53
siblings: Alice Arrow Age 72 living, and Wakinyantoiciye(sp) Age 32 died many years ago
Nieces and Nephews: Joseph Chapman s/o Wakinyantoiciye
