Looking for more info on Alfred Little wind and Jean Shaw most info should be in MN Due to Lack of info here that is as far as my tree goes back, here in ND My resources are very seldom anyone's help would really be appreciated thank you.

I'm sorry i do not know the meaning of the names. I'm not even sure if they are spelled correctly it's a reprinted family tree from a woman in the BIA office here. but if someone know's the meanings and if you have any info i'd sure like to know about it. Thak you

rani, i don't know anything about them i know the kids of wayagami and pejahutawin and i know that christine myrick is their grandaughter i was helping someone with their family tree and this is the line they come from ... but other than that i can't be much help sorry

rani: here is what i found on the names. I am not an expert so here goes:
mahpiya means cloud kuna- no meaning for it
Tateohiyewin: tate means wind or wirlwind, o means to snort, hi can mean either teeth or to arrive here, ye means to go and win is woman
pejahutewin: Pe means sharp, ja(za) no meaning for it, huta means stump. apparently the letter j is pronounced as z.
wazi: can you help with this?

Wayagmani was a Devils Lake sioux. died 1920
spouse was Pejahutawinl,also a Devils Lake Sioux .
children: they had at least a daughter Agnes aka Wanebduhewin.
Agnes married Joseph Myrick/Merrick, Sr. aka Wambdiohonko.
Joseph's parents were Frank Myrick , Hantemazawin
