I'm looking for the baptismal record of Hapistina, AKA Sarah Hapistina, AKA Sarah Moose, AKA Marpiyadutawin. She would have been in her 70s in 1880s, born around 1916.

Hey! I caught some thing here...take a good look at the--->She would have been in her 70s in 1880s, born around 1916.<---I would agree that she could have been that old in reverse, but the fact is she would not exist! I'm looking for the baptismal record of Hapistina, AKA Sarah Hapistina, AKA Sarah Moose, AKA Marpiyadutawin. She would have been in her 70s in 1880s, born around 1916.

hay Jamie: I caught it too. the Indian Name doesn't match the English Translation of her Indian name either. Marpiyadutawin is the Indian name for Red Cloud woman. You need to contact Jackie aka peacekeeper re. your requestjackie is our Birth/baptismal records expert.

Looks to me like she meant to write: "1816" not "1916." If the correct year is 1816, then the words are true: In the 1880s, "she would have been in her 70's."
1816+70=1886 Age 70 1817+70=1887 Age 71 1818+70=1888 Age 72 1819+70=1889 Age 73

HI everyone. Good math Mr. Kitto. I need to know is Red Cloud Woman the wife of chief Red Cloud or a daughter, or other connection? Which name came first, Sarah Moose, or Red Cloud Woman? Give me all of the info you have.
Jackie

I would like to make a correction on marpiyadutawin. Her English name is Sarah or Red Cloud Woman. Don't know if she is the daugter of Chief Red Cloud or not but I think not. On the mdewakanton census she is listed as "Hapistina, cousin to John Moose" so I think that's where she got Sarah Moose. That is not her name, Moose. Sharen
