my research shows that andrew myrick married a full blooded sioux (s-w?)and had children, i also know that he had a brother who did the same. i'm not sure where my relation to Joseph Myrick/Merrick fits in, but i know Joseph Sr's father's name was Frank Merrick/Myrick. its often spelled in both ways....Frank married Hantemazawin (DLSU-901). Frank doesn't have an enrollment number....is Frank Merrick Andrew Myrick's brother?..."the eat grass guy"? can anybody add to this?

Maybe I can help Frank Myrick/Merrick that married my great-great grandmother HanteMazawin (enrollment # Devils Lake Sioux 901, probate # 26049-35) was white. Their son Joseph Myrick/Merrick married my great grandmother Wambdiahewin (Agnes) they had approximately 4 children of which one was my grandmother & godmother Christine Merrick. Christine married Joshua Redday and they had 8 children (this includes my mother Angeline) I hope this helped you out a little. Thanks, if I gave any questionable information, let me know. I got this information from grandma's probate.

andrew jackson Myrick(trader who ate too much grassin 1862) had the following siblings: ira L., Nathan , Hiram L., Louisa J.,AbigailLucinda, charles M., and martin Van buren. so your Frank wasn't oneof Andrew Myrick's close relations.
