Does anyone have any idea what Anna (Tohazadan) St Johns maiden name is, or her parents. She was the mother of Rev Joseph Goodteacher born 1866 in Niobrara, Ne.? He was a clergyman in the Episcopal church. His father was said to be Peter St Johns born in Canada. I believe Anna was born in SD and I don't know what year. I'm also still looking for the mother of the Lizzie Trudell that was married to Peter Trudell. "Makayabdu" Thank you, marnie

Does this sound to anyone that her father or husband was blueberry man? On the 1863 camp census, there are names like Tahaza of the Yellow Medicine Band. There is also a Haza and a Hazadutawin in the Redlegs Band. Also a Hazawin in the Passing Hail's Band. There are no ages or male or female indications on that census either. Could it get any tougher. marnie: Here is what I was able to come up with at he dictionary on line: haza means blueberry to: I think it means of dan:suffix and denotes a man's name of blueberry man?
