Has anyone seen these names on documents relative to Minn.? Icasna (b.?) married to Nagitokecawin (b.1805). Nagitokecawin's mother was Makaojanjanwin (b.circa 1777), Icasna & Nagitokecawin's son was named Tunkanwasteste (Charles Zimmerman b. circa 1831). They are listed as under the Yellow Medicine Band (would like more info on Yellow Medicine if anyone can help here.) Katpantpanoo (b. around 1799) married to Anpa (b.1824). Anpa's father was named Itatekn. Katpantpanoo (later sp. Kakpankpanku) I believe signed the 1857 Treaty for Mdewakantons, along with Chief Shakpay & Hooyapa (Eagle Head). Katpantpanoo & Anpa's daughter was Wicahnpikoyakewin (b.? and d.1906). Wicahnpikoyakewin is listed as under the Eagle Head Band. Wicahnpikoyakewin was married to Tunkanwasteste (Charles Zimmerman) and they both survived the 1862-66 onslaught. They are my great-great-grandparents. Any help on the above names would be greatly appreciated. My email: l_zing@hotmail.com
