I have a person on the 1889 census that shows they have 6 acres of land in Prarie Island Settlement their is a f70 next to the number of acres. I called the couties court house and they said they could not help me because it is tribal land. I called the tribe and they told me they would have not such records.
Does anyone know how I can find out about the land and get information about it.
Thank you.

Talk to Probate in Aberdeen. Bypass the local tribal offices they will just give you a run a round. They helped me so I would think they could help you.
