The spelling marpiinapewin, (Appearing Cloud), is what's on my g.grandfather's probate papers, so I don't know if that's right or not. That's all that's there nothing else. I mean info wise. /Day Woman, beside it I believe this is her daughter, and Nobbin La Roche's 1/2 sister. That's all the info I have on them. Thanks, bruledude04@yahoo.com

This is interesting, Jeannette Lone Bull/ Blue was married in 1925 to Samuel Young, the list was helpful to me. I dont know if her maiden name is Lone Bull or her maiden name.

The MNHS librarian that has been helping me said that there are DeRocqbrains on the Sisseton census records so he's sending me copie and a copy of Elrod's list of Indian soldiers and scouts. I'll forward his message to you. vmarier

I already checked for Josephine or Anpetuduta, when you first mentioned her name. I am still looking for her tho, since the name seems so familiar. I know the words Anpetu and duta are easy words and actually a very lovely name...but its more than that, I just feel like i have seen it somewhere. If I find anything you can be sure I will let you know. DeRockbraine and other spellings, I already checked as well. Again same feeling. This name I know I saw while looking for DeMarrias name. It is not on the list of allotted persons but I will keep an eye out for it as well.

looking for any records of my uncle name is Filmore a Quinn was born is sisseton to Margaret Quinn and I quinn sorry cant remember how to spell his name mind goes blank. he was born 1923 is in mother is margaret (flute) quinn, thank you for any help you can give. lindalee2

I see a Jennette blue in the 1st part of the list, that name interest me. She married Sam Young and had a child Florence Young. Her name is Jennette Lone bull/blue.
