Your name: | hermin1 | Name(s) to be searched: | | State and towns: | | Baptismal search: | | Email is optional: | | Extra comments: | if your computer seeems to be running slow lately, maybe it is time for you to clean out your "Cookies" and your Temporary Internet Files. by doing this household chore on your computer, you free up space and memory on your hard drive. this is for those whoo are running windows programs up to and including Windows 98SE: go to the Icon on your screen called My Computer. right click on it. Select Open In the window that appears, right click on your main hard drive which should be C: Select Properties. In the window that appears, select Clean up disk. You will see another window that will come up showing you where you can free up memory. I select OK. then it clears the hard drive of those files that were checkmarked in the previous window. Now just click okay to get out of that window, and then close the My computer window. Now if you use Internet Explorerfor your browser, open that window with a right click. Select delete Cookies. then select delete temporary Internet files. when it is done, click okay and Ouila!! you have cleaned out your cookies and Temporary Internet files. You need to do this at least twice a month. there is another way to do this, but it involves goinginto your main Windows program. If you make the wrong click you could screw up your computer, so I won't tell you about this procedure.
