I am so sorry I do not have anything in my records about either of the womean you aare searaching for. if you have access to ancestry.com, you might try seaching there, using both their maiden names and then try with their married names.

I am going to go back over some of the Word Carrier stuff I have been taking photos of. I am sure that I saw the name Fannie Goodteacher.

I have seen that name myself when searching for others, in the Dakota Territory Censues, and S.Dakota Censues, but I didn't think to jot downthe information onher.
Maybe that is where you should look Mr. Kitto. I believe someone has poseted the web site for these Dakota Territory Censues on this website.

mkitto, have you found anything on Anna Wells? Our family has found a death certificate for our G-Mother Anna Webster and it lists her Mother as Anna Wells. This is new info for us and we can't find the connection. Thanks

Mike and others:check out the 1900 US Census for Paxton,Redwood, Minn. Anna Wells is listed as born @1875 and as the wife in relationship to head of household. Is this the one youare looking for? I also found Anna J. Wells b.13 March 1807, died 30 Aug. 1890 Olmsted County,Minn. I found that if a person is born after 1905 in Minn. you can try www.mnhs.org and see if they have a copyof the person's death certificate in their Death Certificate Index. |

I must apologize for a goof Imade re. FannieCavender. My C file index was ina mess, and when I rechecked it last night, to get itin order here is what I found I had:
