Wagiwin aka Mary Jane Wakuta was the daughter of Wakuta(RedWing) and his 1st spouse Hadancutkowin.she married Thomas Robinson aka Tom Tanka, a scout for the Army.They had 3 children:
Mary Louise Robinson w/o Samuel Bluestone.

hermin1 so is Celeste daughter of Mary Louise and Samuel Bluestone? or was thinking Sarah and Celeste were the same person.....my family has obtained a marriage certificate for Tom Mackey and Sarah, but on the certificate its listing Celeste......as far as we know Sarah is the one who married Tom Mackey......  |

Yes, Celeste was a daughter of Thomas Robinson and Wagiwin,. and according to the 1900 US Census for Niobrara, Knox,NE.:
Thomas Mackey was listed as born New York,Parents born Ireland, and he was born Nov. 1855.
Celeste, his spouse, was spelled as Selestea born 1854 In Minn,,parents born Minn. She had 15children, only 7 were living at the time of the census.
The children listed with them :
William Mackey age19 born NE
Frank K. mackey age18 born NE
Mary A. Mackey age 15 born NE
John B Mackey Age 13 Born NE.,
The 1902 Register-Santee Indian Families lists Sarah (Robinson) Mackey at Age 47, as the wife of Thomas Mackey, with children: John B. Mackey Age 14, Mary Mackey age 17, and Clarence Mackey Age 4.
Do you know when Celeste died? The family chart I have for the Redwings lists her as having died, but no dates.
It was Mary Louise Robinson who married Sam Bluestone.

we know sarah's parents are Thomas/Mary Jane Robinson....we have obtained a death certificate for Sarah Mackey...which list thomas robinson/Wakute redwing as parents....but no baptismal record showing this ....thats where we are ......just need another document showing parents......any info helpful.....
