on this web site. I believe that I also poseted some information on Redowl(I remember that i mistranslated his name at the time).

Wazi, this is what I have so far from my Mother Mary Emma Red Owl. Also, thank you for Hinhanduta's fathers name, we didn't even have that! That's great information and if you can fill in the blanks, that'd be awesome.

Do you know of anyone who had the Red Owl family tree that was posted on the forum? I am eagerly looking for information on Hinhanduta, Oyeicasna and their father Maka Wahadan, again not sure on the spelling, since the copy I have is of poor quality, very hard to read.

The information was posted back in September. I have a paper copy. It is listed on a thread under information needed started by John Flute. It is on the decendants of George Duwanna Redowl.

See it pays to keep things I do not really need. I am not seeing the names that you have listed.

In discussion with my relative debbie flute, she had thought that maybe Maka was the husband and Wahadan was the wife, on the partial family tree we have. We come to this conclusion because Oyeicasnamani is listed and below him is listed Sbuwin.

Sorry for the confusion. I would appreciate any information anyone would have on Maka and his wife Wahadan.

wazi: I have a Maka in my Parents Cross Index to the 1902 Santee reg. for Santee Ind. Families:
Under his name , I have Spouse: N/A
he had a son Samuel Hawley aka Okinyan, #356 on the above reference. His wife was Julia Haley aka Taokiyeotawin. She was the daughter of Ptegomani and Tatehdihewin.
