Hello, I have a copy of a letter dated June 22, 1914, from Rev. J. Goodteacher sent to Supt. Charles Pierce about his son Levi. I copied the letter from the files in the National Archives in Kansas City a number of years ago.
My gggrandfather was George Goodteacher (Tachunkdahupa), so I copied anything with the Goodteacher name. My ggrandmother was his daughter, Julia Goodteacher who married Ray Cavender.
In the 1887 St. Mary's records, there is a Joseph Goodteacher, age 31, with his wife Mary, age 18. Added later was a daughter Annie, born 1890, died November 1891. Joseph's age might be 21--it is written over, so I can't tell for sure.
If you'd like a copy of the letter, I can scan it and email it to you.
