My reference is the 1902 Register of Santee Indian Families, which lists the parents of these Garwin whipple, benjamin Whipple and thomas Whipple as Husasa and kaptewin.
smith whippple's aparents were Benjamin Whipple and Lucy Lawrence.
Samuel Whipple's parents are listed as Benjamin Whipple and Maggie whipple.

thhomas Whipple's age on the 1902 Reg. of Santee Ind. Families is listed as 53 years, while that for Benjamin Whipple is listed as 56. Maybe someone forgot to tell them they were twins?

watash, I also show them being in minnesota, i have a census record from ancestry.com. I was looking into them to see if ther was a connection between Benjamin and Mary Tunkannhowin.
