Does anyone have a probate record for Nancy Stone Myrick Wakute Wapaha? I was told that her probate mentioned my gr-gr-grandmother, Mary Jane Wakute in it. Thanks.

Does anyone have a probate record for Nancy Stone Myrick Wakute Wapaha? I was told that her probate mentioned my gr-gr-grandmother, Mary Jane Wakute in it. Thanks. Ponca lady: I would try the South Dakota Historical Society at Pierre,SD as I have beentold they hae manyof the Heirships and probates from NARA on microfilm. Iwould also ask the person(s) who told this about Nancy's probate, to cough it up or give you a source for the probate.(where you can find it). Ther is a probate for her husband John Wapaha at the winnebago BIA office, but they aren't letting people even look at the their records now.that is why Imentioned the Historical Society in Pierre. did you check the Flandreau Museum? Since she died there, theymayhave something on Mary Jane Wakute-robinson. Hermin1
