Has anybody ever heard or seen the Indian name Napewamniomni? My great grandfather William Wapaha has this name listed in his probate file as his father. It also states that he left the Sisseton area and moved to Santee where he died. I've check with Santee they had no record of him. I am not sure how to translate his name. I would like to know what it means. I think maybe after he left great grandmother he went back to MN instead. I sure would appreciate any help from anybody.
