:DI just finished reading through a very informative and well-documented paper: History of the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe. It is a very large paper, 155 pages long, in PDF format. it includes chapters on The Aftermath of the 1862 Uprising in Minnesota, Crow Creek 1863-1865,Camp McClellan, the settling of the Santees at Niobrara, and the Flandreau settlement. Here is where I found it: www.fsst.org/PDFs/History_FlandreauSanteeSioux.pdfif you can't link to this website, just type"Flandreau Indian Reservation History" in your search engine , and then look for the website address.
