This is the Pool Hall in Burke, South Dakota. I don't know who any of the people are, maybe somebody else does? I believe the Pool Hall was built by Oliver Dion. My great grandfather, Sam Emery, worked there for a while around 1910. I think the picture was taken around then.

My grandmother has this picture. Oliver Dion was her great-uncle, and her father worked there for a time. I don't know where my grandmother got it.

I don't know who any of the people in the picture are. I asked my grandmother about the man with the checkmark, but she didn't recognize him.
It could possibly be Frank DuCharme's pool hall. I had just assumed that it was Oliver Dion's pool hall, but after looking again at the information, it says Oliver Dion had a dance hall/skating rink, so you may be correct.

That sounds great, let us know if she recognizes anyone.

I recently talked to a cousin, and she believes that this pool hall was built by Oliver Dion, no proof though.
