Hello fellow members. I need all of your help in locating some records. Many people are trying to find copies of their baptisms or a record of their baptism at the Goodwill Church, in Sisseton, SD. If anyone has the copies of this churches records, please contact me. I need a set for the First Nations Outreach Center's Genealogy Files and for my genealogy archives at home. I would only want one and would gladly make my own copy(s).
Thank you Jackie

peacekeeper. Go to Google and type the following in the search box: Goodwill Presbyterian Church Sisseton SD. It gives the history of the church and cemetery, and also has photos and information on other churches in Peever Area. Ididn't find any telephone number to call. they do not have a regular minister, but they have some lay readers? listed that you might contact for help.
Department?

Hi, Before it was Goodwill Church it was Drywood Lakes one of 5 in Sisseton before that they were all the Washwekicidapi formed in 1865. The Iapi Oaye has some of these records. My hard copy only has 1920-1939. I thought I had early Iapi Oaye records but can not find them. Maybe they are in a email download someone sent me. I will keep looking.
Hope this helps some, Sara

How can I get 1871-1920?
I know I had it and did not get a chance to look through it all, I could swear it was sent via an email to me. But I looked for it for a long time today and could not find it. Sara

I was looking for Goodwill chuch records too. I found three chuches that were told to me. One of them is the Lutheran Goodwill which Grace Lutheran Chuch in Sisseton has records another is the Presbyterian Goodwill in Old Agency but those records burned up in a fire although the daughter or grand-daughter has a personal book of Crawford's that was saved. It is mostly personal notes but would I love to get that copied and read it. Another chuch has some records held by a person in Sisseton. Can't remember her name or what denomination either. The office at Grace Lutheran in Sisseton had the info for this.
