Big Jon and Jimmy have inspired me to share but I am having some problems. I have the census scanned, all 90 plus pages. How do I get it into a file that I can send to people. I now appreciate the work and effort it takes to post the images on the board.... Mr D, I know you sent me a link to send big files but the way they are on my computer it would require me to put each of the 95 individually into it. Is there someway I can put each of them into a file? Any help is appreciated!

I was wondering that myself. It seems there is software through Adobe Acrobat to convert the separate images to a pdf file, but when I looked it up online, the software was a few hundred dollars. You could upload the images here individually. It doesn't take too long if you have a highspeed connection, but if you have dial-up, I wouldn't suggest it.

I am unsure about the files or else I would send them out via email. Jimmy, I am going to send them to you and tell me if you can open them okay. I have some concerns after an evening of trying to "zip it", "stuff it", archive it, compress it and then finally send it!!!

I opened it just fine, except I'm missing images 76-93. It looks great. However, I would suggest anyone who wants it sent to them make room in their email, it looks to be about 20-25MB total.

Tamara, what a great gift this census is! Many thanks and a BIG thank you to mdenney for making them available and so easy to download from this site, even for old-fashioned grannies with dial-up! It was a snap! God bless you both!
