My name is Tayler Emery. My dads name was Gerald Anthony Emery and he served in the Air Force. My dad had 11 siblings named Eileen Lunderman, Pearl Qualis, Carolyne Richards, Debbie, Donna, Carol, Edward, David, William, Wilson, and Roger Emery. My dads parents were Wilson H. Emery and Marie J Bordeaux Emery. My dad was a full blooded Rosebud Sioux Indian from the reservation in Rosebud, SD. My dad had 6 kids named Wilson, Elsie, Marie, Christina, myself Tayler, and Callen. My mom told me that I need to be added to the rolls but I don't know what those are. I'm trying to get proof of lineal descent so that I can be recognized as being Native American. I think my dad was Lakota but again I don't know. He was born on September 5, 1939 and died January 2005. I was told that he was buried at St. Charles in Todd county but I couldn't go to his funeral and I can't find out anything about where he's really at. I would also like to learn the language that my dad once spoke and would like to know more about the Rosebud Sioux tribe. Thanks for reading and hopefully you can help me. Contact me at Lostn4gottn@yahoo.com, and if you find formal paperwork that I could send off to prove lineal descent email me and I will give you an address here in Arizona to send it to. Oh yeah and that's where my dad lived was in Glendale, Az. But once again I'd like to thank you for your help. -Lostn4gottn (Tayler Emery)

lostm4gotn: did you get the Emails I sent you? Eileen Emery Lunderman posted a message on Jimmy's Emery fam. Genealogy web site, that she had the same parents, but only five siblings. Your father is buried at St. Francis Mission Cemetery, St. Francis,SD.he died in Arizona. Miltiary service is listed as Airman 3rd Class,US. air Force. Wilson H. Emery and his wife are buried in the same cemetery as your father. I already wrote and told you what you needed. The blood quantum requirement for most of the tribes is 1/4 blood. You have to get the documentation yourself. go to Google and type in rosebud Indian Reservation. Theweb site has contact numbers to call for help.
