To "Jazzdog", Just for the record, not all of the members of this board are idiots. Reading your old posts, it took me all of 5 minutes to figure out who you are. (Mr. Hotshot Wolfchild Lawyer) I find it utterly disgusting that you would come here for YEARS duping these people out of their records and information while PRETENDING to be one of them. ("I'm no expert, but....") Shame on you! I know for a fact that you have spent a good deal of time trying to pry information out of the Oyate regarding Gary Montana's handling of the case. Why didn't you just call him and ask? At least when Mr. Montana came here he had the decency to identify himself. If you desire to remain anonymous, it is probably not a good idea to post all your personal info. Anyone could Google your email address or mailing address and find out just exactly who you really are, just from this one post- jazzdog sez- "Jamie there are at least two active websites which are up and active on the issue of saving Bear Butte......matopaha.org and defendbearbutte.org......... also, I could personally deliver comments to the Meade County (SD) Commission on this issue if any interested brothers and sisters wanted to email me at zephrl@rushmore.com or to send it to me at P.O. Box 9460, Rapid City, SD 57709. thanks for all the interest and helpful thoughts. Jazzdog" Oyate- beware of wolves in sheep's clothing. Cantewastewin: Isn't it interesting, you have a grand total of one post and you claim yourself as the Oyate expert. And the Oyate can google your email address from your profile and see what it is you are hiding. What does this Oyate Exchange have to do with lawyers anyway? Nada. People can share information with anyone they want. That is the joy of Oyate Exchange. It's more relaxed but some find it difficult to converse with each other because of the gripes. Who is the Wolf in sheep's clothing? Naaaahhhh

Oh, you are so correct! One must have 17 posts to be an expert here! My bad! FYI Einstein, lawyers used to come here, take all the free stuff the members posted, then SELL it to their clients. But I would imagine you are just fine with that, no?

My point is, no matter what walk of life people choose, Oyate brings the idea to converse about similar topics or interests. Whether one works for the Indian Health Service (U.S. gov't), Hardees, ditch digger, King royalty, baseball player, or just plain aliases, Oyate is for all to enjoy. Sharing genealogy or another aspect of Oyate that helps people find exactly where they come from. Who their ancestors were? Individuals such as yourself, Cantewastewin, use different screen names to feel the sense of freedom to interact without all this name calling or condemning some for having interests that are Native Americans related. It helps us feel a sense of belonging in the sense of unity, after all, history has not been kind to Native Americans, especially by the U.S. gov't. With that I will not quibble over what makes everyone tick, but to say welcome everyone to Oyate, even Cantewastewin, or whichever wolf in sheep's clothing you may be as Cantewastewin uses in his/her soapbox entry.

I don't think anyone cares that you are a henchman/woman for Mikey, but you could at least speak for yourself and stop being so negative about the Oyate and understand that we are all interested in our ancestors one way or the other.
I appreciate the Oyate for sharing and helping others understand who we are by bringing forth information that maybe helpful to someone searching for the truth.

Hello. Is there any other person in here who lived in a family of 2 or more siblings?
It really appears y'all must not have for much like tfeleht2, (he or she) must not have gotten into a disagreement with a brother or sister. No, I did not look at the profile. Me, I could always run faster than Willy or Cookie!
Geez lighten up. Get over yourself.

Re: President OBAMA
October 29, 2009 Judge dismisses suit about Obama's eligibility to be president Posted: October 29th, 2009 05:21 PM ET Judge dismisses suit about Obama's eligibility to be president. (CNN) - President Barack Obama may have one less problem to worry about.
A federal judge on Thursday dismissed a lawsuit that claimed Obama is ineligible to be president because he isn't a bona fide U.S. citizen.
The lawsuit represented the claim by the so-called "birthers" movement that Obama was not born in Hawaii - despite a birth certificate to the contrary - or that if he was, his citizenship was invalidated by living overseas as a child.
In a 30-page ruling, U.S. District Judge David O. Carter of California said his court lacked the jurisdiction to rule on a case intended to unseat a sitting president.
Carter's ruling said the plaintiffs were trying to persuade him to "disregard the constitutional procedures in place for the removal of a sitting president."
"The process for removal of a sitting president - removal for any reason - is within the province of Congress, not the courts," the ruling said.
Carter's ruling also noted that the plaintiffs "have attacked the judiciary, including every prior court that has dismissed their claim, as unpatriotic and even treasonous for refusing to grant their requests and for adhering to the terms of the Constitution."
"Respecting the constitutional role and jurisdiction of this court is not unpatriotic," the ruling said. "Quite the contrary, this court considers commitment to that constitutional role to be the ultimate reflection of patriotism."

Calling a judge unpatriotic for following the rule of law...will you people stop at nothing?!?! I'm sorry your little crazy witch hunt didn't pan out the way you expected it to.
The majority of the American people elected a president on Nov. 4th of last year. That's how the system works. If you don't like it, you can either leave this great country or you can wait until your next chance to elect the person you'd prefer to be president. Stop wasting the judges' precious time! catawungus October 29th, 2009 5:33 pm ET
CNN continues to give airtime to morons. This leaves less time for vital information and issues. Let's see some of that Chatty style, and everyone chuckle now.
Or, CNN can go back to what it was to begin with and provide relevant NEWS.

Congress isn't going to act in this direction. The Obama presidency was given a free pass and rubber stamp from the beginning of the campaign. What really needs to be addressed is what "natural born" means because the Constitution has been misinterpreted to mean "born on U.S. soil." This is incorrect. Thank you for posting that. Hopefully these Republicans around here GET IT! Kind of like women on a bad hair day or when they can't shop, it's in their nature and they can't help it.
You cannot remove a sitting President from office through the U.S. Courts, only Congress can remove a sitting President through impeachment or the people can do that at the polls (voting) on election day.
Plain and simple, but you know Republicans, Party of No. (Rolling eyes) Remember Sarah Palin, another woman, who can see Russia from her backyard. 52% of Republicans surveyed have a positive image of Sarah Palin. lol She's losing support fast, but does she get? No, because she is a woman and thinks lipstick and winking will get her by. lol

I have no opinion on this subject right now. I continue to pray that Gods will be done and His truth be told. Just sharing this info for informational purposes. This is an AP report that my husband found. This is a page from a Kenyan paper, the "Standard" on June 27th, 2004. web.archive.org/web/20040627142700/eastandard.net/headlines/news26060403.htmIn Obamas Senate race in 2004, Allan Keyes was giving him grief over his not being US born. Obamas retort was something like, "what difference does it make? I am not running for President". Love to all Sunshine
