This would be an awesome time for the Gov't to bring to an end the Cobell case. I think people are a little perturbed with where the money is going. Mostly to institutions and people who don't deserve it and are mostly responsible for whats happenined! The 50 Billion or so dollars that was arrived at would not be missed by the Federal Gov't as they have a few dollars to play with!! I think it would be the only honorable thing the Gov't could do in this situation. I'm not so sure the Gov't will ever have the amount of money not earmarked and available as they do now! Wishful thinking I know but wouldn't that be nice! Maybe a petition in Indian country to that effect and delivered to Obama ASAP before the money disappears!

Something has to be done. My cousin retired from BIA Headquarters in New Mexico 2 years ago and two months after his retirement at a hearing about his IIM account, he was told by the judge "There is no money in this account". He knew for a fact that money was in his account and how much. He said this did not surprise him. I think this is the lgreatest money laundering sceme in history.
